Dr. Major G. Vasanth Kumar is a Consultant ENT Surgeon and Head & Neck Surgical Oncologist with over 15 years of experience in managing complex ear, nose, throat, and cancer-related conditions. He specializes in head and neck cancer surgeries, reconstructive procedures, endolaryngeal laser treatments, and coblation-assisted microlaryngeal surgeries.
He completed his MBBS from Government Stanley Medical College, Chennai, followed by MS (ENT) from Command Hospital, Bangalore, and DNB (ENT). He further pursued a Fellowship in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology at Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bangalore, gaining advanced expertise in oncologic and reconstructive surgery.
A former officer in the Indian Army Medical Corps, Dr. Vasanth Kumar brings discipline and precision to his clinical practice. He is currently a Consultant at leading hospitals in Chennai and serves as an Associate Professor of ENT, actively involved in teaching and training future surgeons.
He is also a published researcher and regular speaker at national conferences, committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care with a focus on functional outcomes and quality of life.
